The Salvia cassis belongs to the family Labiaceae. This plant is native to South America because it needs humidity and hot places. This flower is small in size and has a very intense red colour. The aroma of salvia cassis is very fruity and its taste has sweet touches.

Pairing

Due to its sweet taste and the fruity touches, this edible flower can be perfectly combined with any dish: pasta, salad, chocolate or meat. It can also be used with seafood such as a salmon or tuna. We can affirm that salvia cassis is a very versatile flower in the kitchen.
