Peppermint is a must of modern cuisine. Very aromatic buds that leave an intense chocolate flavour on the palate. In Innoflower we also have crystallized mint buds, another way to use the peppermint in an original way.

Description

Peppermint

Peppermint comes from the plant known as Mentha chocolate pipermint. This plant is perennial whose height oscillates around 60 cm. Its leaves emit an intense smell of mint and are dark green, the reverse side of the leaf is dark brown or burgundy. These buds are available all year.

It leaves a slight chocolate flavor taste and its aroma is very intense. It is considered a fundamental ingredient in the kitchen.

Pairing

In the kitchen, peppermint is used in various ways: for desserts and pastries, to add flavor in sauces or in more elaborated dishes such as stews or roasts. It combines with both: fish and meat and of course, with sweets like chocolate. It is an essential in the current kitchen.
