Nasturtium flower

The nasturtium flower or Tropaeolum majus is an annual and climbing plant. We can see them in red, orange and yellow. The taste of the nasturtium flower resembles watercress but it leaves a slight taste of wasabi with spicy notes. In addition, we can consume both the flower and the leaf of this plant.

Pairing

In the kitchen, it should be used with salty products, such as meats, seafood, salads … etc. They can be used in desserts, but you have to be aware that this edible flower is spicy, so it must be used with care.
